Bilingual web design · Houston, Texas

More calls from Houston customers, in English and Spanish.

Complete websites for small businesses around Houston — and a website your business actually owns, with the domain registered in your name from day one. I write the copy and handle the setup, and the Spanish is written by a native speaker, not a translator.

What you get

Every build includes all of this.

No line items appearing halfway through. If you need something that isn’t on this list, I’ll price it before any work starts.

Pages that fit

One page or ten — home, services, about, contact, whatever your business needs.

The writing, done for you

I write the copy. It’s the step that stalls most projects, so I take it off your plate.

Built for phones first

Most customers find you on a phone. That’s the version I design first.

A contact form that works

Goes straight to your inbox. Tested before launch, not assumed to work.

Findable on Google

Page titles, descriptions and the basics Google needs to show you in local searches.

The domain in your name

Registered to you, with you on the account.

The work

A real business, with a real site, running right now.

Lambent is new, so I’m not going to show you a wall of logos I don’t have. Here’s what I’ve built — live, and open to judge for yourself.

Vargas Service Management

Bookkeeping and income tax office in Clute, Texas. Built and launched by me.

The situation
A bookkeeping and income-tax office in Brazoria County: nine services to explain, many clients who prefer Spanish, and customers who call or WhatsApp instead of filling in forms.
What I built
  • Four pages, with all nine services explained in one pass
  • A Spanish section, written in Spanish rather than translated
  • Local business structured data, for local search and the map
  • Tap-to-call and WhatsApp up front, how their customers get in touch

English and Spanish

A real Spanish version, not a translate button.

Spanish is my first language. Order both and I write both — your Spanish pages read the way a Spanish-speaking customer talks. In Houston that reaches customers your competitors are missing.

Built in both languages

  • Every page written in both languages by the same person, so both say the same thing
  • Spanish pages on their own addresses, which Google can show to Spanish searches
A translate plugin

A translate plugin

  • Machine translation a native speaker spots in the first sentence
  • Swaps words in the visitor’s browser, so Google never sees the Spanish

This site is the example — switch to ES at the top. Both languages from +$200, priced by size.

50% to start, 50% at launch. The balance is due when the site goes live and not before — if you aren’t happy with it, it doesn’t launch.

Care plan — optional

Cancel anytime. The site and the domain stay yours either way.

$50/moSingle & Standard
$75/moLarger
What the plan covers
  • 30 minutes of changes every month. Hours, prices, photos, text. One update on its own is $65, so the plan pays for itself the first time you use it.
  • I test your contact form every month. Forms break silently.
  • Uptime and speed monitoring. If your site goes down or slows, I find out before your customers do.
  • Your Google listing kept current. Holiday hours, new photos, changed details.
  • Your domain renewal paid, plus hosting, SSL and daily backups looked after.
  • Priority turnaround. Plan work gets done within two business days.

Not on the plan? Changes are $65 each, up to 30 minutes, and anything bigger gets quoted first. No monthly charge, and the site is still entirely yours.

Free website health check

Already have a site? Let’s see what it’s costing you.

Send me the address and I’ll go through it properly — speed, phones, whether Google can find you, and what’s costing you calls. Free, in writing, no sales pitch.

One audit per week, for businesses in the Houston area. If this week is taken, I’ll tell you when the next slot is.

I’ll confirm your slot within two business days. No newsletter.

How it works

Three steps, and you know the price before step two.

Fifteen minutes on the phone is usually all it takes to get a price.

Step 01

Tell me about the business

A call or an email: what you do, who your customers are, and what you want the site to get you.

Step 02

You get a price and a date

In writing, before anything starts — what the site includes, what it costs, when it goes live. Half books the slot, half when it launches.

Step 03

I build it and hand it over

I write the copy, build the site, and show it to you. Two rounds of changes, then it goes live.

The part most people get wrong

Your domain gets registered in your name.

Plenty of agencies register the domain under their own account, so leaving costs you your web address, your email, and every customer who had it written down. Yours goes in your name, with you on the account, from the first day — and if you already own one, we use it.

One personNo account managers

I’m one person, and that’s the point.

When you hire Lambent, you get me — the person you talk to is the person writing your copy and building your pages.

I’ve spent seven years in accounts payable reconciliation — seven years of making sure numbers and deadlines are right the first time. That’s the habit I bring to this: a price before I start, a date I intend to hit, and a straight answer if something changes.
