Prices, timelines, ownership and what happens after launch — the same answers I give on the phone.
What does it actually cost?
A single page is $600, up to five pages is $1,200, and six to ten is $2,000. Add-ons are priced on this page too, so you can work out your own total before you call me.
For my first five clients those prices are $450, $900 and $1,600, in exchange for permission to show the work and a short testimonial — a temporary rate, not what the work normally costs.
When do I pay?
Half to start, half when the site goes live. The deposit books your place in the schedule.
The balance isn’t due until you’ve seen the finished site and you’re happy with it. If you aren’t, it doesn’t launch and we keep working.
What if I need more than two rounds of changes?
Then we do more. Two rounds cover almost everyone, because I write the copy from your own words. After that, changes are $65 each, up to 30 minutes, and anything larger gets quoted first.
If we’re on round four because I keep missing what you asked for, that’s on me and I don’t charge for it. The $65 is for new requests, not for me getting it wrong.
How long does it take?
About a week for a single page, two to three weeks for a standard build, three to four for a larger one, counting from the day the deposit lands. The usual delay is waiting on photos or a logo.
Do I really own the domain?
Yes — in your name, with your email on the account and the login in your hands. If you ever move to someone else, the domain goes with you.
Who writes the words?
I do. You tell me about the business in a conversation, I write the pages, you correct anything I got wrong.
What if I already have a website?
Then we replace it, and you keep your domain and your search history. Same price, and any content worth keeping gets carried over.
Do I have to take the monthly plan?
No. Pay once and you’re done — there’s no subscription to me. Your site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, set up in your own Cloudflare account. Hosting is free. The only recurring cost is the domain renewal, usually $10–20 a year, paid directly to the registrar. You own both accounts.
The care plan is for owners who’d rather not think about any of that, plus the 30 minutes of changes a month. If that isn’t you, skip it.
What happens after it goes live?
On the one-time build I hand over every login and the files, and you can hire me for updates any time — $65 each, up to 30 minutes. On the care plan you email me the change and I handle it, up to 30 minutes a month.
Do you work with businesses outside Houston?
Yes. The process is identical over phone and email — Houston is just where I’d rather meet in person.
